Eight local runners were among the hundreds who competed Saturday in the Mt. Washington Road Race.

Ranging in age from 40 to 69, the local group had one thing in common - all had run the race before. David Roy of Berlin was competing in his 29th consecutive race up the mountain while his running partner Ron Chaisson marked his 22th race. The oldest runner of the group, sixty-nine year old Rita Debonis of Berlin, competed for the third time.
