A proposal to build a communications tower on Route 16 in Gorham may run into rough sledding at a zoning variance hearing on March 7.

SBA Communications Corp., of Boca Raton, FL, through its agent, Summit Wireless Consulting, LLC/Chip Fredette, of Penacook, proposes siting a 150-foot Monopole style tower on a 100-foot by 100-foot plot of land behind the Pat’s Used Autos building on Route 16. The land is owned by Harold and Marilyn Munce who would lease the land to the company.
