WEST STEWARTSTOWN – The county commissioners Wednesday voted to award a bid to install rip-rap along the Magalloway River bank to stop the erosion that is threatening to wash out Chapel Hill Road in Wentworth's Location. That approval, however, is subject to the county delegation appropriating the $88,000 cost of the bid.

With time a factor, the commission will try to set up an emergency meeting with the delegation. The two bodies must decide where to find the $88,000 in the budget.
