A California company has been hired to provide construction management services for the medium security federal prison under construction in Berlin.

Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc., of Pasadena, Calif., announced last week that it has received a contract from the federal Bureau of Prisons. The cost of the contract was not released. A press release issued by Jacobs noted the project has a budget of over $240 million.
