CONCORD — Committee appointments are in place for elected Coos County state representatives, as well as House leadership for Republicans and Democrats statewide.

Locally, James Tierney (R-Groveton), is one of two representatives for Coos District 1. He is a member of the Ways and Means Committee. The second Coos 1 representative is Sean Durkin (R-Northumberland). Durkin is a member of the Fish and Game and Marine Resources Committee.
