Errol – A second roundtable discussion on the Umbagog National Wildlife Refuge this Saturday, Sept. 15, will focus on the refuge’s impact on tax revenues in Errol. The meeting will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the Errol town hall.

At the July roundtable a decision was made to form a working group to look at the tax implications of the refuge, starting with Errol. The working group, consisting of town officials, citizens, and refuge officials, will present the results of its analysis for discussion at the September meeting. In the future the working group will look at the tax impact for Coos County and for abutting communities in Maine.
