Luke Demers, 60, of West Boylston, died on April 8th from pneumonia as a consequence of having lived with an aggressive cancer for seven years.
He is mourned by his wife of 38 years, Lorri (Holmes) Demers of West Boylston; his sons, Brian Demers and his wife Amanda (Pogue) Demers of Los Gatos, Calif., and Neil Demers of West Boylston and his partner Jessica Levine; his grandchildren, Lucia and Sierra Demers of Los Gatos, Calif.; his mother Denise (Langlois) Demers of Randolph, N.H.; his brother Kevin Demers of New Britain, Conn.; his mother-in-law Barbara (Ware) Holmes and father-in-law Robert Holmes of Shrewsbury; his sisters-in-law, Tracy Holmes and her husband Michael Schramm of Fayetteville, N.Y., and Karen Holmes-Malone and her wife Barbara Malone of Holden; his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many close friends.
