BERLIN — White Mountains Community College will celebrate the Nansen Ski Club’s Winter Carnival with an exhibit of historical artifacts on display in the Fortier Library’s gallery.

Come in from the cold to enjoy this schuss down the slope of Berlin’s rich skiing history. Items on loan are from the Berlin & Coos County Historical Society and the Nansen Ski Club, include wooden skis and poles, trophies, Olympic Games memorabilia, vintage photos, and much more. During the month of January, visit the library Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Friday, Jan. 13. For the remainder of January, on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, visit from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The library is closed on weekends and holidays.
