Approximately 800 acres added too Milan Community Forest

MILAN — Over 800 acres has been added to the Milan Community Forest, providing a link between previously conserved lands within the forest. With the new acquisition, the community forest now totals approximately 3,360 acres.

A joint announcement by The Conservation Fund and the town of Milan said the new 808-acre corridor will benefit outdoor recreationists, the local economy and schoolchildren.
