BERLIN — Shortly after the Dan Roberge Memorial Art Show opened at 2 p.m. Saturday in the spacious interior setting of St. Kieran Community Center for the Arts, visitors streamed in.

On easels and other displays, artwork by Roberge filled the space as his friends and friends of friends studied the work, enjoying the paintings and photographs and each other’s company.
