SARGENT'S PURCHASE — On Saturday, June 26 at approximately 12:30 p.m., NH Fish and Game was notified by NH State Police Dispatch about an injured hiker on the Huntington Ravine Trail. The call came in via a 911 call and showed the hiker to be .20 miles down from the Alpine Garden Trail junction. The incident occurred on the steep slab on the upper reaches of the ravine. The caller reported a male hiker fell approximately 50 feet resulting in serious injuries.

Due to the nature of the terrain and injuries sustained a call was made to the National Guard for helicopter support. Calls went out to Mountain Rescue Services (MRS) due to the technical nature of the terrain and to Androscoggin Valley Search and Rescue (AVSAR).
