Leave the firewood at home

This Labor Day weekend state officials are asking people to leave their out-of-state firewood at home when they go camping.

"Movement of firewood is a really critical way that people assist in the spread of forest pests like emerald ash borer and Asian longhorned beetle," says State Entomologist Piera Siegert of the New Hampshire Department of Agriculture, Markets & Food.
