SHELBURNE — The Shelburne Trails Club and Mahoosuc Land Trust offer a joint speaker series presentation on Thursday, April 16, at 7 p.m., at the Shelburne Town Hall, 74 Village Road. This presentation is free. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and coffee, tea and cookies will be served. Advance registration at tinyurl.com/4pkneva4 is helpful, but not required.
Nancy Eaton, former Shelburne Trails Club board member and current “Trail Master,” will highlight her experience hiking Kungsleden (King’s Trail) north and south of the Arctic Circle in 2019. Eaton spent three weeks hiking in Sweden on this 450-kilometer trail that crosses the Arctic Circle and passes through four of Sweden’s national parks.
