John C. “Mellie” Judson, 84, of Omaha, Neb., passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2015. Mr. Judson was born in Berlin on February 28, 1931 a son of Albert and Beulah (Mader) Judson and served in the U.S Army. He settled in Nebraska, where he has lived most of his life and worked in construction. In his younger years, John enjoyed boxing. He was a member of the American Legion and was an avid sports fan.

Family members include his brother Kenneth Judson and wife Theresa of Berlin; sister Marion Glover of Maine; sister in-law Pauline Judson of Berlin; brother in-law Chester Corcoran of Berlin; his longtime companion Jacklin Adams of Omaha, Neb. and her nieces Heidi and Jackie and nephews Raymond and Lou; many nieces, nephews and cousins. His deceased siblings include, Harvey Judson, Elizabeth Corcoran, Mildred Gallagher, Stewart Judson, Willie Judson, Franklin Judson, Alex Judson, Eddie Judson, Albert Judson, Beulah McKenna, Reggie Judson and Bertram Judson who passed away on September 18, 2015.
