BERLIN -- Mr. Gerard “Jerry“ L. Pinette, 64, of 12 Verdun St., Berlin, passed away on Saturday February 23, 2008 at his home. He was born in Berlin on September 22, 1943, the son of Edward and Rita (Fontaine) Pinette and was a lifelong resident. Prior to his retirement in November of 2006, he had been employed by Berlin City Dealarships as an automotive technician and was a member of the Dupont-Holmes Post # 82 American Legion. Members of the family include his wife Susan, (Eriksen) Pinette of Berlin; one daughter. Renee Bouchard and husband Rodney of Berlin; one son, Randall Pinette of Berlin; two grandsons, Nicholas and Dylan; one step-grandson, Danny Berwick; one step-granddaughter, Andrea Berwick; two brothers, Leo Pinette of Berlin and Paul Pinette of Berlin; one sister, Jacqueline Murphy of Berlin; two sisters-in-law, Theresa Pinette of Berlin and Beverly Pinette of Berlin; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents and three brothers, Henry Pinette, Robert Pinette and Lionel Pinette.
