BERLIN — For the past 20 years, RiverFire has been a gift to the community — an annual day where families, friends, and visitors come together to celebrate the fall season, enjoy live entertainment, and witness the breathtaking fires glowing on the Androscoggin River.

This year organizers must make a difficult but necessary change. Due to rising costs in every area — from pumpkins, wood, and music to insurance, safety, and infrastructure, RiverFire will no longer continue as a free event.
