CONCORD — This week marks the 100th anniversary of the N.H. Division of Forests and Lands and the University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension working together to promote and protect the state’s forests and to support the forestry industry statewide.

The initial memorandum of understanding between the two entities was first signed by New Hampshire State Forester John Foster and Director of Extension-UNH J.C. Kendall on Aug. 12, 1925.
