CONCORD — New Hampshire’s Automobile Dealers Association expressed disappointment in the Aug. 15 decision by Gov. Chris Sununu to veto House Bill 664, which would have set new standards for insurance reimbursement for vehicle repairs.

In a statement released Aug. 16 expressing the association's disapproval of the governor's decision, the group described HB 664 as a bipartisan bill giving New Hampshire consumers local control over how their vehicles were repaired after an accident. The bill had bipartisan sponsors and strong votes by both Democrats and Republicans.
