WASHINGTON D.C. — U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.), a senior member of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, announced with U.S. Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-N.H.) and U.S. Reps. Annie Kuster (D-N.H.) and Chris Pappas (D-N.H.) that rural communities throughout the state will receive $577,276 in federal funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Office of Rural Development in support of renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. The funding will be awarded through the Rural Energy for America Program to the small businesses and farms listed below: 

• Solis, Inc., LLC Berlin, $27,610.
