CONCORD — The New Hampshire Department of Corrections offers many opportunities for vocational learning and working within its many facilities.

Key areas expanded for women when they were transferred to the new facility in the areas of manufacturing processes, braille transcription, sublimation and commercial driver license training (which is also available to men now). Other areas of the department provide opportunities for residents to purchase their own materials and create beautiful pieces of furniture and other creative works they can sell in the New Hampshire Correctional Industries showroom.
