Shelburne celebrates its 250th Anniversary this weekend

SHELBURNE — Nestled in the shadow of the White Mountains and situated along the banks of the Androscoggin River, the village of Shelburne is 250 years old this year.

To celebrate this historic event, town departments and groups of community volunteers have created a series of fun and festive events over a three-day period, Aug. 9-11. Local residents and tourists are welcome to attend.
