Memorial Day Weekend starts prime fishing time in the Mount Washington Valley. Anglers pursue a variety of fish with trout, bass, or pickerel, the primary targets of New Hampshire’s great gamefish.

Trout are the number one focus for stream anglers. State Fish and Game with brook trout, rainbow trout and brown trout have stocked the Saco River. For the spin fish angler, there is no better place than the River Street bridge section of the river in Bartlett.
