The Great North Woods Committee for the Arts is planning a powerhouse weekend of music at the Tillotson Center in Colebrook on Saturday, Oct. 3, and Sunday, Oct. 4.
“If you want to see how differently stringed instruments can be played, here’s your opportunity as we bring back to Colebrook two of our perennial favorites, Camerata New England and the April Verch Band,” said GNWCA President Charlie Jordan. “On one hand you’ll be able to hear the perfection of Brahms performed by strings on the stage with the beautiful blend of a grand piano in the mix. Then on the next day bluegrass will come to the foreground with dynamic Ottawa stepdancing in the very same airspace. It will be an electrifying weekend.” Tickets for both shows are $15 each.
