CAMPTON — The creators of a multimedia driving tour called the Weeks Act Legacy Trail are laying out the welcome mat for White Mountain visitors this summer. With 2014 marking the 100th anniversary of the federal government's first land purchase in the creation of the White Mountain National Forest (WMNF) and the 50th anniversary of The Wilderness Act, it’s a great time to celebrate and enjoy what is today known as “The People’s Forest.”

The Weeks Act Legacy Trail makes exploring the forest fun and easy.
