Maine's Republican party director Jason Savage is suddenly concerned about foreign governments meddling in our elections. 

In a mass email to supporters, the Executive Director of the Maine Republican Party Jason Savage wrote last week that ranked-choice voting “puts our voting system at risk from hackers in foreign governments,” a claim which, apart from being ironic, is completely inaccurate. 

Savage wrote that the ranked-choice tabulation process is subject to the same vulnerability as the Central Voter Registration database, although they are not comparable because one is secured online while the other is secured physically.
