One great thing about the music-related scene in Maine, and a major reason I want to do these spotlight features every few weeks, is the special collection of talent we have that goes beyond the music itself. Jason Bosch is a wonderful success story in our scene that doesn’t hang a guitar around his shoulder. Since 2010, Bosch has helped the music scene in Maine look like more than just “local artists” previously with his photography and then with his high quality video work. Rustic Overtones, Gunther Brown, Spose, OHX, Dean Ford, Armies, The Mallett Brothers Band and many more go to Bosch to bring their music to life for the visually interested. He always captures and creates crisp, clear visions of what musicians want to express to the world out there just waiting to click “view."

Bosch started his video production company Red Stallion Media in 2013 and the work, not surprisingly, has gone beyond local music videos. Red Stallion has produced sensational commercial and promotional video work for Colby College, Lindt Chocolate, Baxter Brewing, Nikon, UNE and cPort Credit Union, to name a few. I’ve been lucky to have worked with Jason on a couple of projects. He has great vision and a calm, confident way about doing things. In the end, he makes things look great. My picture here weekly is actually the photog work of Jason. Lemons into lemonade!
