LEWISTON — With over 40 schools registered and over 25 teams that scored, the Fryeburg Academy boys placed fourth overall Monday at the Class B state Indoor Track & Field Championships held at Bates College in Lewiston.

Numerous Lake Region sprinters had multiple personal records (PRs) at the Western Maine Conference league championships last Friday at the University of Southern Maine in Gorham, leading to the teams’ seasonal best PR total of 32.
For several Fryeburg Academy track athletes, they saved their best efforts for the conference championships.
