FRYEBURG – Dorothy (Dolly) Scott LaBarge, 87, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born on January 20, 1939, in Cambridge, Mass., a daughter of the late William and Rose (Gillan) Scott.Â
She graduated from Cambridge High & Latin School and worked in an administrative capacity for several Cambridge based firms. After raising her family, she became a title abstractor for the Hastings Law Firm in Fryeburg. During her life, she was an avid skier on the N.H. slopes. In her retirement she wintered in Florida, and with her husband Sherm, she took up golf and pickle ball. She loved relaxing with her knitting needles, crochet hooks, and a ball of yarn, and also enjoyed a good game of cards with friends. Dolly faithfully volunteered every year at the Fryeburg fair in support of her church.
