Donna M. Shannon

Donna Marie Shannon, 65, of Osteen, Fla., formerly of Maine, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2026. Donna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She shared more than 40 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, Jim. She was the proud mother of Casey and Koryn and a loving grandmother to Raelyn, Thea, Kaitlyn and Ashlyn.

Donna retired last year from Duke Energy after many years of dedicated service. In retirement, her adventurous spirit kept her embracing the things she loved the most; motorcycle rides and boating adventures with Jim, game nights, time spent with her large circle of devoted friends and family and making precious memories with her grandchildren. Donna’s faith was important to her, and she found her greatest peace and happiness near the ocean, where beaches always felt like home to her. Donna lived a full, vibrant life. She loved those close to her fiercely, loved to laugh, have fun and was incredibly strong. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
