To The Editor: 

I was born and raised in Bridgton, and my family has a long history in the Woods Pond area. My great-grandparents and grandparents owned the original family farm overlooking the pond, and their names remain on the property’s deed today. In 2024, we were fortunate to purchase and renovate a home on Woods Pond, continuing our family’s connection to the area. We now offer the home as a short-term rental for part of the year, and guests consistently share their appreciation for the home, Woods Pond, and the Bridgton community.
