To The Editor:

The 2026 election is not about TACO (Trump Always Chickens Out). The election is all about Susan Collins. Senator Collins is the Senate Appropriations Committee chairwoman, a leader of the Trumplican party (former Republicans who abdicated to TACO). However, Collins lacks any semblance of leadership. She enabled TACO to destroy the reflecting pool, no bid; tear down the East Wing of the White House, no bid; deprive Mainers of health care; and drive the national debt, fuel and groceries prices through the roof. In all this, Collins as a leader speaking out — crickets!
