To The Editor:

The Democrat (some Republican) establishment’s governance has produced the chaos in the country that we see today. I use the word governance instead of government because governance is how the governors utilize the laws to organize and/or control society. The Founder’s Constitution sets limits on the power that government has, and powers that the governors can exercise. However, way back when, when the 20th Century was young, a political movement was born based on the idea that government and governors were not bound by the limits set out in the Constitution, but only the specific items that the Constitution actually forbid the governors and government from doing. Checks and balances were an impediment to “good governance,” and the Constitution was for what the people were allowed to do (see Woodrow Wilson, Planned Parenthood, and Eugenics). Modern Progressivism was born.
