The Bridgton Community Band begins its summer concert season on Friday, July 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the bandstand behind Walgreens.

 

The Bridgton Community Band begins its summer concert season on Friday, July 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the bandstand behind Walgreens, on the grounds of Stevens Brook Elementary School. The July 3 concert features patriotic music as a prelude to the annual fireworks display.  

Concerts will continue on Wednesdays at 7 p.m., beginning July 8 and culminating on August 12, celebrating the band’s 88th birthday. The band is among the oldest in Maine and has been an entertaining cultural gem within the Bridgton community since 1938.
