To The Editor:

America’s Emir, Donald Trump, agreed to accept a gift from the government of Qatar, a $400-million secondhand Boeing 747, dubbed the “Flying Palace.” His insecurities are showing since Air Force One is perfectly acceptable, but it certainly is not as garish as the Qatari’s “gift.” I use that term loosely, since Trump is transactional by nature and Eric Trump is presently in Qatar doing business to brand another ghastly hotel/golf course there. What else have the Qatari’s and other Gulf States (Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar) enriched him or the Trump family with?
