NORTH HAVERHILL — Former Democratic state Sen. Jeffrey Woodburn was taken in handcuffs Sept. 25 to begin serving a 30-day sentence in the Coos County House of Corrections on two criminal mischief convictions dating from a 2018 arrest. Woodburn was sentenced to 12 months in jail with all but 30 days suspended for damaging a door of the home of his then-girlfriend. And, on the charge of damaging a dryer door also in the woman’s home, sentenced to 12 months in jail, all suspended.

The sentences are to be served concurrently.
