GORHAM — Gorham High School's baseball team enters the 2024 season with high expectations, building on their previous successes. Finishing first in the state in the regular season last year and reaching the semifinals for the past two years, the team has established itself as a force to be reckoned with. Led by Coach Paul Girouard and supported by assistant coaches Matt Saladino, Craig Langlois, and Landyn Croteau, the team boasts a roster of talented players, including seniors Brendan Saladino, Cam Pake, Michael Cote, Kody Lemieux, Sedric Deblois, Andrew Saunders, juniors Jack Saladino, Isaac Langlois, Kasey Guilmette, Gavin Corrigan, sophomore Mason Roberge, and freshmen Cooper Ladd and Owen Lapointe.

The early spring snowstorm posed challenges for spring sports cancelling games and creating jam-packed schedules of back-to-back matchups. This season, the implementation of a new pitching rule further complicates matters, particularly for teams with limited pitching resources. Fortunately for Gorham, pitching depth is a notable strength with five capable pitchers, Jack Saladino, Langlois, Guilmette, Brendan Saladino and Ladd,  ready to take the mound. However, that doesn’t mean the new rule won’t effect Gorha, Jack Saladino's pitch count surpassed 75 in the last Colebrook game, making him ineligible for the next three games.
