CARROLL — On Wednesday, Sept. 23, at about 2:52 p.m., N.H. Fish and Game was notified of a hiker suffering from a medical emergency on the Mount Willard Trail in Carroll. Passerby hikers began CPR while a call was made to 911.

Twin Mountain Fire and EMS personnel were activated and responded with medical gear and hiked in 0.25 miles to the scene and began life saving efforts. In addition, AMC personnel from the Highland Center and volunteers from Pemigewasset Valley Search and Rescue along with conservation officers responded.
