As we enter aggressively into the high school winter sports’ scene next week, with nearly all teams opening up their seasons, this will probably be the shortest “Steve’s Sports’ Shorts” between now and the end of February 2020.

The North Country (Men’s) Hockey League action this past Monday featured two exciting games with identical scores, as Amoskeag snuck by the Pub 2-1, while the Town and Country won their first game of the season over Mr. Pizza, 2-1, in the nightcap.
