The Gorham Huskies opened the 2026 boys soccer season winning two out of three games, including a 5-0 home-opener shutout. Gorham began with a 3-1 road victory at Pittsfield on Aug. 28 before falling 5-4 at Littleton on Sept. 1. The Huskies bounced back in a big way three days later, blanking Wilton-Lyndeborough 5-0 at home.

Gorham traveled to Pittsfield on Friday, Aug. 28, for its season opener against the Panthers. Despite the long trip, the Huskies controlled possession and came away with a decisive 3-1 victory. From the opening whistle, Gorham dictated the tempo. Owen LaPointe, Owen Theriault and John Schuft controlled the midfield while Patrick Holt and Andrew Albert made attacking runs from the wings.
