Berlin Recreation basketball for kindergarten and first, second and third grades is due to start Jan. 19. The program is limited to 15 children per division so people are encouraged to register soon. Fee is $35 per person for the six-week program. Kindergarten and first grade will have instruction on Saturdays from 10-11:15 a.m., second and third grades will have their practices on Saturdays from 11:30 a.m-1 p.m. Even if you already played school basketball, this is a great way to extend your season and stay in shape. Coach Jim Couhie will lead the students in lessons and scrimmage games. Register at the Berlin Recreation Center, 672 First Ave., Berlin. For more information, call (603) 752-2010.
