Gusty conditions challenged racers

JACKSON — The Gorham High School Ski Team hosted a pair of giant slalom races on Friday, Jan. 27, at Wildcat Mountain, taking on six other Division IV schools in very windy conditions and fresh snow.

The Gorham girls finished second in both events, putting three skiers in the top ten in each race. In the morning two-run, combined-time event, Lin-Wood narrowly led the field with 373 points. Gorham and Profile were right behind, tying for second with 371 points.
