To the editor:

Things are not much better on the east side of Berlin as the stink from the landfill is still there. I realize that employees of Androscoggin Valley Regional Refuse Disposal District (AVRRDD) and engineers from the contractor Sevee & Maher have been working hard to try to resolve that awful smell coming from Mt. Carberry. But this problem has gone on far to long with no help in stopping that smell from descending on our homes on the east side.
