LANCASTER — A Coos County Superior Court jury found Dustin Duren guilty Tuesday afternoon of three criminal charges, including second-degree murder for knowingly and recklessly causing the death of Caitlyn Naffziger, the mother of the unmarried couple’s two children, in a Berlin apartment on Main Street in 2024.

Duren will be sentenced at 10 a.m. Dec. 11 on the murder conviction, as well as on charges of endangering the welfare of a child and reckless conduct with a deadly weapon. He is being held without bail in the custody of the Coos County Sheriff’s Department pending sentencing.
