To the editor:

I am very disappointed that Kelly Ayotte has fallen into the obstructionist camp refusing to honor and act on President Obama’s constitutional duty to appoint a Supreme Court nominee. We did not send her to Washington to become one of the “angry old boys.” Given the Senator’s past role as N.H. Attorney General, she should respect constitutional requirements and not join the group of obstructionists in her party who wish to play politics with this appointment. America voted for the President to serve four more years—a full four years—and Ms. Ayotte should respect this as well.
