To the editor:

On Voting Day Tuesday, Nov. 4 you will be asked to vote for the member of the N.H. Executive Council in District One. He will represent 109 towns and 4 cities. The Executive Council approves spending of a major portion of the approximately 5.2 billion dollars that is appropriated annually by the legislature. The five members approve the appointments of state commissioners, and judges. They are the eyes and ears of the residents of the area they represent, voicing concern about road conditions, border security, availability of state services, etc.
