To many of us folks that live elsewhere, its always a treat to visit "our hometown", for any occasion. A week ago last Saturday, I had a business trip that took me through Berlin. To my surprise, I was following 4-wheelers through main street, huh !! What's with all that, I asked myself ? Hummmmm ! They pulled off and I continued my trip to my business stop, when I was approaching the old Red & White, (lastly - Kelly's supermarket), I noticed lots of cars parked in the old mill properties. The further north I traveled, the more cars I noticed. Yes, I know, it was a Saturday night, but whoa, when I got to the VFW there was a detour. I asked the police officer what was going on, he told me it was the "River fire Celebration". I noticed lots of families headed in that direction.
