just back from People's Climate March, parade, NYC. Largest event in history. 2100 global marches simultaneous. 500 busses. 400 thousand on the avenues stretching length of Manhattan dressed up in nature and animal get ups as many as you can imagine, exotic clowns, birds, drones, bombs, captain planet, polar bears, colored coral outfits. 40 bands! Code Pink ladies declaring "boobs not bombs" and showed they meant it! Native tribes dancing. Street Theatre, Hooting. Drums. Chants. 100 foot banners. Human honeybees. Frog families. Gaia goddesses. 20 foot puppets. Amazing art!
