Police warn of thefts

The Berlin Police Department recently saw an increase of thefts from cars. They are recommending that vehicle owners lock their car and place items of value out of sight.  In the cases pursued, anything that pertains to electronics is being targeted but tools and loose change have also been stolen; all things which are readily available in most vehicles.  Also, they encourage anyone who notices someone looking at vehicles, typically at night, not to hesitate to call the police department at 752-3131 in hopes of catching the person(s) responsible for the vehicle break-ins.
