Reaction to the proposed management plan for the Lake Umbagog National Wildlife Refuge was mixed Wednesday night from the few people who offered public comments.

Echoing many of the concerns heard at Monday night’s hearing in Errol, some speakers questioned the economic impact and potential loss of multi-use recreational opportunities under the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s preferred alternative.
