NH State Police Troop F responded to a report of an untimely death in the town of Milan on Wednesday, Oct. 26. Neighbors of 296 West Milan Road called to report that upon stopping by the Robert Amende residence, they found Mr. Amende unconscious. Milan ambulance squad responded and attempted to revive Amende but were unsuccessful. Amende, 89, was pronounced dead on scene. The state medical referee investigated the death.

At this time the death is believed to be of natural causes. ...
